Dr. Moriarty was hand-picked to join an exclusive study club through Spear Education with Imtiaz Manji, former CEO of Spear Education. He currently serves as the co-leader of the local Spear Study Club and is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Moriarty works hard to raise public awareness of the benefits of great dental hygiene and is very proud to support his local and global communities. Making a difference in the lives and smiles of others is what drives Dr. Moriarty on a daily basis. The Open Wide Foundation was founded in 2011 and its mission is to significantly impact better oral health to communities in need.
Dr. Moriarty also enjoys giving back to his local community each year by providing dental care for individuals who reside at the Water Street Mission and by providing Free Dentistry Days at Mor Smiles. The Free Dentistry Days provide dental care to 75 patients throughout the course of three days. This community outreach effort is supported and staffed by the entire team at Mor Smiles and the Sedation Consulting Group. All dentists who volunteer their time and talents for the Free Dentistry Days complete dental procedures by utilizing IV sedation to ensure a positive, peaceful experience.
Away from the office, Dr. Moriarty and his wife, Ashley are devoted to raising their family; Mia, Charlotte and Conor and their two loyal dogs. In addition, he enjoys golf, tennis, traveling and flying airplanes.
